In December 2021, our Spanish client completed a lighting renovation project at a local Volkswagen 4S dealership parking lot. Originally, the parking area was lit with 400W high-pressure sodium lamps, which the car dealership’s owner complained were power-hungry and not bright enough. After assessing the design, the client chose to replace the 400W sodium lamps with the FB series 240W LED floodlights. After the renovation, the entire 4S dealership parking area was illuminated brightly, achieving a ground illuminance of 410 LUX. The owner was extremely pleased with the results of the renovation and managed to save 50% on electricity costs.
