In 2022, we completed a dairy farm lighting retrofit in the Netherlands. Dairy farm lighting has a direct impact on cow health and milk production. To be effective, lighting should be even, avoid alternating light and dark, and ensure a moderate level of brightness to make it easier to work without discomforting the cows. Considering the special environment of the barn, it is wise to choose durable, waterproof and energy-saving lamps and lanterns. 120w FB series LED floodlights are IP66 rated for waterproof and dustproof and have a luminous efficacy of up to 160 LM/W. The 120w FB series LED floodlights are a good replacement for the original 400w halogen lamps, and customers say the measured illuminance values are much higher. Both the dairy farm owner and the customer are very satisfied with the project.
